The Angel of Revival

About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God come in and say to him, “Cornelius.” -Acts 10:3

I had a vision from the Lord recently where I saw the Angel of Revival dropping white hot coals of revival fire all around the globe. These coals were spread out strategically. The of coals will turn into a wild fire as the wind of God blows upon the embers. Revival will sweep the globe once again. We are on the cusp of revival! It's time to prepare the way of the Lord!  

Prophet Bob Jones said many times, "When the chiefs win the Super Bowl, it will be a sign that God is raising up His apostolic chiefs to bring in a 1 billion soul harvest." My heart has been burning for souls like never before. I was sharing with a friend the other day how the next revival will not look like anything the world has ever seen. It won't be about a preacher or a location. It will be about Jesus! Miracles, signs, and wonders will follow the preaching of the Word! Not the other way around. For far too long we have been to conferences hopped on Facebook lives, been to boring church services, bought books and teachings but what we really need is to learn to love like Jesus. 

The love of Jesus moves us beyond praying for the needs of others. It moves us into action. As I am sitting here in my room, it is so windy outside. The wind gusts are around 35 miles per hour. It's been like this all day. It's not a storm. It's just an unusually windy day in Virginia. Could it be a prophetic sign? This kind of weather rarely comes to Virginia. I was reminded of the following passage:

"So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them. Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’”  So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army. -Ezekiel 37: 7-10

God is awakening a generation to rise up as a mighty militant army ready for battle. They are completely sold out to Christ. They are filled with the Spirit of God. They will win the lost, heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely they have received and now they will freely give. 

"As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give. -Matthew 10:7-8

There is a holy yearning that is being imparted to thousands for revival. The coming move of God will cross denominational walls. It will be covered by the national media. The dead will be raised to life in Christ! A sign that we are in revival will be when the dead being raised becomes more and more common. 

"And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you." -Romans 8:11

I don't know about you but I am so stirred. I am so hungry for more of His presence. I grew up in the Brownsville revival. I have touched the fires of revival. I have been consumed and I was never the same. The holiness of His presence has ruined me. I can't settle for another form of godliness denying the power thereof. We need a true move of His Spirit. We need a fresh outpouring more than ever before! 

Gross darkness will continue to cover the earth. That's why we have seen so many heartbreaking and perverse things like school shootings, political corruption, and tolerance for sin. It's written in the scriptures:

See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. -Isaiah 60:2

Don't let this scare you. Just look at the second half of Isaiah 60:2. The LORD rises upon you, and his glory appears over you. Let that be your prayer and the attitude of your heart. May the glory of God appear over you. May He be magnified and lifted up. Only then will we truly see revival! Only then will we see a mighty 1 billion soul harvest! 

Whatever the Lord requires of you do it. Be a laid down lover of Jesus. Forget about the sign of the church building or denomination. Forget about the speaker ministering or the worship band. None of that matters. What matters most is responding to the hot fiery love of Jesus chasing you down. He desires to turn your life around. He desires to use you for His glory. It's not about us. It's all about Him!  It's time to prepare the way of the Lord!
